Elaine G. Mills has been in the business of making art since 1970. Her work has appeared in many publications, including Cosmopolitan Magazine, The Boston Globe, and The Washington Post, among others; and it has been used for the covers of books, CD's, and magazines. Her fine line portrait logos of columnists were published daily for many years in The Day newspaper, a New London, Connecticut newspaper known in New England for its numerous awards.

Elaine was the muralist in 1999 and 2000 for the restoration of a Moroccan style theater, The Garde Arts Center, originally built in 1926 in New London, Connecticut. She sculpted and painted the murals in the lobby and the two seventy foot walls in the theater.

Elaine's paintings and drawings grace the walls of homes and corporations all over the world. She enjoys painting landscape, sea and townscapes in oils.

ESPN filmed Elaine drawing caricatures of NFL coaches Jon Gruden and Bill Cowler. The footage aired in December 2000 on Prime Time.
